Middle of the Night Lows

So we have been fighting little S with eating. He just doesn’t want to eat again. He keeps telling us that his tummy has “owies.” You just can’t fight a toddler who has “owies” in his tummy.

But that leaves us with dropping sugars, and late nights.

Let me tell you a little secret. I love these nights.

Sure, they are exhausting. And I would prefer to sleep in my own bed rather than finally crashing on the couch next to my little guy.

But its snuggle time for just S and I. Time where we watch what he wants to watch. And time where he gets to be the only kiddo in the family.

So, even though I am exhausted, and even though I worry about the long-term effects of his crazy sugar levels, I am grateful for these nights.

I love to hear what you are thinking!
